Charlotte Mason, Unschooling, Waldorf, Tidal… WTF?!?

OMG. After two weeks of allowing unlimited tv, x-box and computer time- a generally lazy and unproductive holidays- we begin officially homeschooling tomorrow. God, I love Scrabble. Here’s what I know. I have developed a schedule. We formally* teach/learn from 8:30- 11:30 Monday thru Thursday. Cool. Great hours!

What I have not developed is a lesson plan. Well, not to worry. From research done over these holidays, I take child outdoors with a notebook and let him have at ‘er. Done. OK. So it doesn’t end there. We then take said notebook and research, write essays/poems/stories, read about what he’s discovered. Jeez that’s great!

Sounds like something a good mother would have been doing anyways. OMG. Shallow cough. Air. I need air.
