Bill Maher, Etc.
Despite his completely misogynist views on breastfeeding (what does he think they’re for anyways?!?), I do like the guy.
By and large, when it comes to politics, comedians such as Maher and my very fave, Jon Stewart, call it much like I do here in the comfort of my very own living room in my very own Rocky Mountain, oh so Canadian, cottage house. I enjoyed him on Larry King last night, before I fell asleep half way through, due to Namaste overload. Whether it’s Mitt Romney (I do believe he might have insulted Larry’s wife…) or the Clinton’s, I like what he says. Granted, he is only a TV personality, and I’m not sure we’d want his influence really, anyways… I wish more people thought like him. Or if they do, I wish they’d speak up.
Perhaps the Obama rush forward of late is a reflection of some of these feelings finally coming to light, coming to support a true changing of the guard… an abandonment of the establishment… I suppose, for those south of the 49th and ultimately the rest of us, today will tell…
American hubby, aside… I do so love this view from my very own living room in my very own Rocky Mountain, oh so Canadian, cottage house.
