Ohmigod ChocoChip Cookies!! If you like ‘em gooey!!
2&1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
1 cup butter, soft
3/4 cup brown or light brown sugar
3/4 cup regular granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 large egg, cracked and lightly beaten
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips- Callebaut chunks rule(thx GC Superstore)!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees (180 C).
Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in medium bowl, set aside.
Into large bowl of electric mixer place butter, all sugar. Cream. Scrape down sides with spatula.
Add vanilla and beaten egg to sugar and butter mixture. Mix on medium speed.
Add flour mixture slowly. Mix on low- don’t go crazy!
With spatula, fold in chocolate chips(chunks).
Using tablespoon scoop oversized drops onto cookie sheet. Bake only about 12 minutes! They will look soft, though bottoms should be browning. They will continue to cook standing on cookie sheet on counter another 2-3 minutes, before setting each cookie on cooling rack. Repeat with remaining dough.
